About us

Katallasso Alternative Dispute Resolutions - Christian Conciliations

(K-ADR™) was founded by Dr. Beverly Caro Duréus, an attorney/mediator and trained theologian. This mediation service presents a new paradigm for problem solving. At its forefront, K-ADR™ employs a concept for dispute resolutions that is underutilized. It recognizes that at the heart of most disputes are fractured relationships and principles that have been violated. The philosophy at the core of K-ADR™ is that if relationships are first restored, or mutual respect placed back intact, then parties have a better chance of resolving their disputes and moving toward wholeness.

Areas of Expertise

A new concept in mediations, Katallasso Alternative Dispute Resolutions - Christian Conciliations (K-ADR™) seeks to cater first to people adversely impacted by life situations and then focuses on reconciling their legal problems. It is here at K-ADR™ that you will find lives being reconciled and disputes being resolved.

Although the paradigm for K-ADR™ utilizes Christian principles, its services are not just for Christians. People of all faiths, or those who profess no faith at all, can find common ground with their opponents in concepts of respect, forgiveness, civility, and human decency. When these tenets are undergirded with legal principles that move parties toward restoration, all parties win!

If your case is more "a matter of principle" than a matter of just obtaining money,

K-ADR™ is uniquely for you!

"Katallasso" in its simplest form, is a Greek term that means reconciliation. Katallasso Alternative Dispute Resolutions - Christian Conciliations (K-ADR™) is here to serve you as it applies its mission and vision statement to your situation. It exists specifically for...

"Reconciling Lives ~ Resolving Disputes"

It's commendable and often court-ordered

to attempt to resolve disputes before a court trial.

Since 1994, K-ADR's Founder/ Attorney-Mediator Dr. Beverly Caro Dureus has engaged in the pursuit of integrating law and theology. As the Founder and President of Katallasso Enterprises, one of her passions is fostering venues for reconciliation. Katallasso Alternative Dispute Resolutions - Christian Conciliations (K-ADR™), a division of Katallasso Enterprises, is the instrument that she is now utilizing to bring reconciliation into the legal arena in a fresh way.

Mediations are confidential and cost-efficient.

Parties may craft their own settlement terms.

A vanguard concept in K-ADR's methods is a commitment to assist parties to move toward wholeness. We seek first to remove offenses and then to reach a resolution. All is never lost if no compromise can be reached. Wholeness is individualistic. The benefits of reconciliation can reach well beyond economic benefits. Those participating in the process may walk away with peace of mind and personal renewal. At K-ADR™ parties can be assisted by a neutral go-between, who will help them to bridge their differences.

Churches, couples, individuals and corporate

clients are all ideal participants for K-ADR™.

A Proven Process
